Update changes and Partnerships

Hey guys the hiatus is still ongoing but I thought it’s important that I announce a couple of changes regarding Midnight Menagerie. First off, the update day is changing. From now on new pages will show up on Fridays instead of Tuesdays. Because of changes, I will only be going online once a week (I don’t have internet at home), it’s easiest to do those things on Fridays. The time will still be the same, around 10am MST (12ET/9W) just the day is changing.

Remember to buy the issues when they come out because it helps support the series. While I would love to do everything for free, a girl’s gotta eat and I can’t even afford internet. The issues are $3.99, are high resolution, and can go anywhere on a smartphone or tablet. If Shawn’s King of Dorks moments aren’t worth at least 3 bucks to you, then I don’t know what is.

Lastly, for the site itself Midnight Menagerie is looking for partner series. What are partner series? Those are series that get mutual ads and promotions. If you run a horror, sci-fi, fantasy or steampunk comic that’s PG-13 or similar there abouts (please no XXX comics, I don’t like porn), we trade banners, and I’ll promote you on Facebook, Twitter and so forth, and in exchange I do the same thing. One of those I’ll-scratch-your-back-you-scratch-mine deals.

Otherwise the hiatus is going on for one more week and then the series returns with new pages for chapter 4

Midnight Menagerie Hiatus

Hey guys, I’ve got some bad news for y’all. Due to a big giant thing that fell into my lap I have to take at least the month off as a hiatus. That means after today’s update, there won’t be any new pages until further notice. In addition to Midnight Menagerie going on hiatus, it means all my projects are going on hiatus and I’ll only be online once a week. I’m sorry for the inconvenience but this is kind of an emergency situation and if I had any way around it I would take it. But alas this isn’t the case. I appreciate everybody’s support and patience and I promise more Shawn and horror goofiness as soon as I can.

The Big Reveal

And so concludes Chapter Four: Mad Dog prt.2. This was either a huge twist for you guys, or something you saw coming. I tried to drop some hints as to the identity of the werewolf but it isn’t always easy to tell whether or not things are obvious when you, the omnipotent storyteller, decide the fates of the poor shlubs you write about know exactly what’s going on at all times. Also, I know the page is a day late. The added drama wasn’t intentional, I was just sick over the weekend and not able to get out of the house until today. Bad health is bad. Chapter 4 is now on Comixology or will be in the next week or so (Comixology’s review process is a little uneven. Some issues get approved literally a couple hours after they’re submitted, others take a few weeks to a few months.) So always remember that if you want high quality Midnight Menagerie awesomeness and own a tablet or smart phone, you can always use the Comixology app to buy the issues, which incidentally, line my threadbare pockets so I can continue to work. Seriously, the issues are only 3.99 and nothing says “I think you are awesome and I support your ridiculous comic about gay monsters and their straight buddy” by making sure I have electricity.
