Hey guys! Have you entered for your chance to win a free copy of Sorcerer’s Apprentice v1. on Tumblr and Facebook? This Friday is the deadline. So if you say but you didn’t tell us, Bwillett! I’m gonna just glare at you disapprovingly as I’ve been talking about these contests ad nasaeum since the release of Sorcerer’s Apprentice v.2!
Denver Comic Con is in a few more weeks and I’m getting really excited. Last week I got the copies of Sorcerer’s Apprentice v.2 that I’ll have for the con and been getting the last minute details taken care of. Can’t make it to the con? You can always buy Sorcerer’s Apprentice v.2 directly through Indy Planet by clicking the banner at the top of the page.
Don’t forget to enter to win a free copy of Volume 1 on Facebook and Tumblr. There’s less than two weeks to enter and all you have to do is reblog or like the page.
Last week started chapter 12 of Sorcerer’s Apprentice, the final chapter is Volume 2. When I originally wrote the chapter it was in the middle of winter that I was drawing it. And despite the fact that for most of you you’re closer to your Summer Breaks than your winter ones, it still snowed over the weekend! Can you believe it? And not just a little bit of snow either, probably 4-5 inches where I live. Almost mid-May and we have a major snow storm. Colorado weather. Sheesh.
Don’t forget that Sorcerer’s Apprentice v.2 is available for sale. And in addition to print copies, Indy Planet also allows for e-book versions too at a discounted price. So if you’ve been tentative about buying the book because of international shipping costs (a complaint I hear from a lot of you guys, and trust me I sympathize) the e-book version is a good alternative.
Also, if you haven’t checked out my Facebook page, I’ve done my big Denver Comic Con announcement. It’s only a month now until the con. Go there if you want to find out exactly what I’ll have for sale and all that jazz. I’m really looking forward to it. Also, don’t forget to enter to win a free copy of Sorcerer’s Apprentice v.1 on Facebook and Tumblr.
Have you picked up your copy of Sorcerer’s Apprentice v.2? If not you could have already read this week’s pages and started the next chapter! You can either click this link or click the banner ad at the top of the page to link you to the Indy Planet listing. Remember that buying the book doesn’t just give you the fabulous quality of high-resolution print and a handsome volume to add to your shelf, buying books also insures that I can continue the series for volumes 3 and beyond. Sorcerer’s Apprentice will be 40 chapters long and will span 7 volumes, but I can’t guarantee that print volumes will be available unless the current volumes sell. If you’ve already bought your copy, tell your friends and family!
Sorcerer’s Apprentice is and always will be an all-ages series so if you enjoy the story introduce Victoria and her friends to your little sister, cousin, daughter, family friend’s kids or anyone else you know who wants to get kids into reading and comics. Don’t forget you can win a free copy of Volume One by either entering on Facebook or Tumblr so enter today!
After long last it’s finally available! Sorcerer’s Apprentice v.2 from Bwillett Comics. I know it took a while to get everything done, but now that it’s out I hope lots of you pick it up. The print editions of my books always look a million times better than the online version with improved graphics, cleaner art, removed errors and beautiful chapter art. Not only that, but the book contains pages not yet available online and won’t be for many more months to come!
Both volumes 1 and 2 are now available from Indy Planet which does ship internationally and accepts a wide range of payment. And to celebrate the release of the book I’m also holding a special giveaway! I’ll be giving away two signed copies of Sorcerer’s Apprentice v.1. One on Facebook and one on Tumblr. Enter today for a chance to win a free copy.
There’s another reason to buy Sorcerer’s Apprentice volumes 1 and 2 besides the opportunity to own a great all-ages series: every book you buy helps support the series and helps me cover the cost of my supplies and web costs. While I love working on my comics, the costs do rack up, and when I’m running low on cash I always have to put my work on hiatus in order to take paid commissions and projects to cover my expenses. When you support the series with donations, clicking on ads, and buying art and books, I can spend more time actually working on the series. Part of the reason why updates have been cut back is for this very reason. But by buying volumes 1 and 2, you are making sure that there will be a volume 3 and beyond and that the adventures of Victoria, Renard and Allister continue.
