I hope everyone had a fun and safe Independence Day if you’re from the US. Mine was okay. It was a little hard to barbeque because it was sorta rainy during the afternoon, and I pretty much got no sleep all weekend because of people shooting off illegal fireworks. I’m not sure what the thought process is that people have to celebrate their patriotism by violating their nation’s laws, but whatever. There are still a few more weeks left before we finish Chapter 12 and start again on Chapter 13. For those of you who have been fans since the very beginning, that will mean that the series is almost back to the place was before the original hiatus three years back. The art’s improved a LOT so I think redoing it was worth it.

As always, the site and the series needs your support in order to continue. Don’t forget to vote for Sorcerer’s Apprentice on Top Web Comics, click on interesting ads you see (I actually click them myself to find new webcomics to check out. A lot of the ones that advertise are actually really cool) and buy copies of Sorcerer’s Apprentice v.1 and 2 in order to guarantee the production of volume 3.

Changes to the Site

Hey everyone, if you haven’t noticed yet, I’ve completely revamped my main site Bwillett Comics. It’s now more streamlined, more clear and easier to find things like my Youtube channel and Facebook. I’ve also changed it so that there are no longer daily announcements of new page updates. As such, that means all major news (except conventions) will be announced here and on Facebook. So if you aren’t already liking Bwillett Comics on Facebook, I strongly suggest you start following me there and on Twitter so you don’t miss the latest I have to say. And I don’t just post updates on there, I also talk about fun random things like Pokemon and Anime.

As for Sorcerer’s Apprentice itself right now we’re just chugging along with chapter 12 while I keep working on pages for ahead of time. Winter Break will end sometime in late August and Chapter 13 will probably launch in September. Because sales have been so slow with Sorcerer’s Apprentice v.2, I’m not sure I’ll be able to put out v.3 as things stand. The series will continue all 40 chapters, but from here on out things will only be 2 pages a week, and I can’t guarantee release dates for any future books. So if you want to see future volumes SUPPORT THE SERIES. Buy books, click ads, upvote Sorcerer’s Apprentice on sites like Top Web Comics, tell your friends about how awesome Victoria is!

Post Con Wrap Up

Hey guys, I’ve recovered from my post-con break and it’s back to regular updates. I want to say hello to all the new fans of Sorcerer’s Apprentice. I hope you continue to enjoy the series and the adventures and twists that are coming soon. Also, I am currently rebuilding the site of Bwillett Comics to be a bit sleeker, so if you’re not seeing updates on the main page, just keep checking here and Facebook to see when new pages are being posted. For those of you who didn’t get a chance to go to the con, don’t worry, you can still buy copies of Sorcerer’s Apprentice v.1 and 2 from Indy Planet. Denver Comic Con is almost here!

Hey Magical Girl fans! This week is Denver Comic Con, at the Denver Convention Center in Denver, Colorado (what a coincidence, right?) and I will be in attendance in the Artist Valley. Not only will I have copies of Sorcerer’s Apprentice v.2 available, I’ll also have Con exclusive prints featuring Victoria, Cooper and Renard. Each print is individually signed and numbered, and a very, very limited edition. So once they are sold out, they are GONE.

Also, because this weekend is the con, there won’t be any comic updates next week. This is due to not having any time to work, plus good ol’ fashioned Con Fatigue. Pages will appear the week after that, so have no fear! If you can’t make it to the con and get your goodies, have no fear, you can still get copies of Sorcerer’s Apprentice v.1 and 2 at Indy Planet by clicking the banner at the top of the page.

Less than two weeks, guys…

It’s two weeks before Denver Comic Con and now I’m just taking care of the little last minute things that always seem to pop up before a big convention: tracking down all the supplies for my table, confirming my spot and the details of when and where to load and unload my things, and dealing with the inevitable little problems that no amount of careful planning can account for.

The contests on Tumblr and Facebook are over and I’ll be announcing the winners and getting in contact with them later this week. I still have to draw the winners which is why I’m not announcing it sooner. Chapter 12 is chugging along and is past the halfway point now. If you’ve been enjoying the work, why not pick up a print copy of Sorcerer’s Apprentice Volume 2? Looks great on any shelf!
