The Sorcerers Apprentice

Happy New Year everyone! I know the updates are late again but this time it’s not my fault. Many of you might not know, but I currently don’t have internet service at home (this is mostly due to me and a disagreement with the local internet companies) so I have to go to the local library to do my updates. The weather has been really snowy these past few days and the problem is that almost no one around where I live shovels their walkways. And since I walk with a cane you can understand why I get stuck in the house for weeks at a time.

Other than that chapter 14 marches on and I have a few pages already set up that will be posted these next few weeks. Also, I need to give everyone a big FYI for updates next week. There will be no updates this Tuesday because I have something extremely hugely important to take care of, and depending on how that goes that will affect Friday’s updates as well. All I ask if that all y’all wish me luck.

This week marks the beginning of Chapter 14: Family Matters. I’ve been talking about if for a few weeks, but I’m really looking forward to this chapter. I know it’s sorta late, but unfortunately, things have been so chaotic at home I haven’t had much of a chance to sit down and work. I pretty much got these pages done just before I posted them. Hopefully no big annoyances strike again and the updates can stay a lot more consistent. I’ve always been good about updating the site before, so this is unusual for me.

There’s less than two weeks until Christmas and you’re still scrambling to come up with a gift, why not invest in Sorcerer’s Apprentice volumes 1 and 2? A lot of people forget that the series is all ages, so if you’re trying to nudge a youngin’ into reading comics, Sorcerer’s Apprentice is a good place to start. Also, the Bwillett Comics clearance sale is going on until the 31^st. After that day all that stuff will no longer be available for sale. So if you’re thinking you can grab some of that stuff at a con, you’re out of luck. Especially since I’m retiring so many designs.

Hey folks, sorry for no pages last week. That was largely because last week was a major holiday. The library was closed on Friday and with my disease flaring up the previous weekend (yay painful autoimmune diseases…) I wasn’t able to work. Because of those things I figured I’d just skip the updates. This week the pages will be up on time. In fact, the first page is going to be a day early. This is because I’m doing something special this week: I’ll be contributing to Colorado-based blog and podcast, Beyond the Trope. I’m being interviewed and asked to discuss some common tropes and how I use them in my work. I hope y’all will check it out, I’m very excited to be a part of it.
