Alright, some official dates now! Okay, the book is done and the official release date is June! That’s even earlier than I thought it would be. On top of that, if you keep checking back on P2Manga.com you’ll be able to get a chance to preorder the book before even then. There will only be 10 preorders available, so get them while you can!
Okay, Chapter 5 is nearly entirely wrapped up and it’s just chapter 6 to go. I’m scheduled to finish the whole book by the April 30th. There is still no ‘official’ release date, but the late August/early September date is looking far more concrete.
If you live in or will be in the Denver area in September, I will have a table in the Artist Alley at Nan Desu Kan, a really great anime convention. I wihave copies of Sorcerer’s Apprentice v.1 for sale, not only will it be below cover price, but I’ll also sign it if you want me to.
Hey folks, I know it’s been a while since I’ve updated so I’ll give you the skinny.
There is still no official release date for Sorcerer’s Apprentice Volume 1, but I’ll give you an idea of how far I’ve progressed. The cover and all the chapter art is done. This alone took me nearly 3 weeks to finish. It’s some of the most detailed work I’ve done and I’m quite proud of it. Chapter 1 is entirely done. Chapter 2 is also finished. I’m hoping that by the end of this week that I’ll have 19 pages of Chapter 3 finished.
My personal goal is to finish some time by the beginning of April. I still don’t know how realistic that is, as this is my goal, not the publishers. If I do finish, that probably means the release date will be this August. But I repeat, there is no official release date just yet. So for those of you asking me about preorders and things like that, still can’t tell you when you can start doing that. As soon as I have something more concrete, I’ll let everyone know.
Now if you’ll excuse me, it’s back to the drawing table.
