My internet has been a nightmare for the past few days, hence some lateness to some of my replies and delays in regular updates. I’m still here, and I’m still working. In fact, I’m just about the start Chapter 8. It’ll be a couple of weeks before you guys will get to see it, but like I said, I’m trying to keep up a healthy backlog.
Okay, this week’s updates and next week’s are back on schedule. Unforunately a bunch of stuff that was keeping me so busy last week spilled over into this week meaning I won’t have much time to work. Hopefully this means next week I can start getting head of the automatic updates and start making more progress towards volume 2.
That’s turning out to be especially important as I’ve gotten into Nan Desu Kan this year! It’ll be my second year in the Artist Alley of the con and I’m hoping to have more stuff than last year. I’ll have a few new prints and while I won’t have the book done, I will be offering preorders for volume 2 at the convention. Because I’ve been so busy I haven’t had much of a chance to go through with my big plan to open a shop on the site, but I will be doing that ASAP. So for those who can’t go to the convention and still want volume 1, I haven’t forgotten about you.
Just want everyone to have a heads up. This week’s updates are already scheduled, but later this week I have a pretty important thing I need to take care of and I might not be able to have the pages on time next week. I have a whole stack of half-done pages that are almost ready, but all the things I need to do to get ready for this thing has pretty much prevented me from even sitting down for more than a few minutes to work. Plus it’s quite stressful and that affects my ability to work as well. I don’t want anyone to be surprised and confused if for some reason next Monday there isn’t a new page straight away.
As for this week’s pages things get really heated when Victoria introduces her new friend to Renard.
Chapter 7 is coming along both with my offline work and the recent updates. This also gives everyone who hasn’t bought volume 1 yet to really see how much my style has improved from the old version. I did a lot of work to really improve my line work, anatomy, expressions and poses to create a quality comic, and I hope you guys have noticed.
Cooper’s out of the picture in this week’s pages but don’t worry, he’ll definitely be back. Instead we get to see another character not seen in a while: Allister.

I’m back from Denver Comic Con. I had an amazing time and had a great time meeting all of you. And an especially big thanks to everyone who bought something from me (and thus fueling my anime and video game habit) as well as all the staff from Denver Comic Con. Y’all must be wizards because everything was great even with the enormous amount of people there.
With DCC over my next hurdle is getting volume 2 done and working on my panel for Nan Desu Kan in September. This week I won’t be working on anything because quite frankly I am completely and utterly wiped. Don’t worry about updates though, there will be new pages all week.
Speaking of new pages, this week we get introduced to one of the major characters of the series as well as his redesign. I hope my friend Billy likes the new look for him, since he always told me Cooper is his favorite character XD
Also, look out next week on Bwillett Comics when I post up the shop page for Sorcerer’s Apprentice v.1. A lot of people have been asking me about it and with the con over I can sell the book to the general public. But first I needs a break.
