The Sorcerers Apprentice

Well, this is it ladies and gents. The week of Denver Comic Con. This weekend y’all will be able to see me up close and in person and purchase copies of Sorcerer’s Apprentice V.1 If you want to find me I’ll be at D-9, which will be right behind the Colorado Movie Cars. Just look for Magician Victoria standee and the sign with the big purple duck. I’ll be hard to miss.

In addition to Sorcerer’s Apprentice, I’ll also be selling art prints, postcards and copies of my Kingdom Hearts doujin: Sweet Struggle. I’ll also be doing sketch commissions as well as collecting bigger commissions from people who just have to have my work XD.

As far as updates go you won’t have to worry about any gaps. The series will update without interruption until about the middle of June. I’ll be taking it mostly slow art-wise as I run around like a lunatic getting everything done and ready. All the merchandise is taken care of, but now I have to collect everything together, double check I have everything and get my badge. I’ll also be taking a break after the con, but like I said, this won’t affect the updates at all. Keep reading all this week for new pages and see you all at the convention!

I’m definitely moving forward again with the series. Instead of doing 3 pages a week like I used to do I’ve been trying to get as many pages done as possible in a week because I plan to release Sorcerer’s Apprentice v.2 some time in October. At that point it will probably mean that by the time the second volume will be out that there will be lots of pages that won’t have appeared on the site yet. That means that those of you who will purchase the book will get the chance to read the new chapters before anybody else will. If that’s not an incentive for buying the book,  then I don’t know what is!

Speaking of print volumes, Sorcerer’s Apprentice is scheduled to be delivered today by my printer. I’m very excited to finally have proper versions of the book for everyone. The books will first only be available to goers of Denver Comic Con, but after the convention the books will be available on the site, so stay tuned!

Hi everyone!

I have a huge announcement to make. Sorcerer’s Apprentice is returning as a weekly updated webcomic.

Because of some disagreements me and P2Manga will be parting ways, but Sorcerer’s Apprentice will *finally*, fully be available very soon. But because the art from the first book is so different than the current webcomic, I will be redoing the series from chapter 7 on. Good news is that in October Sorcerer’s Apprentice v.2 will be available (Better release date TBA)

So if you’ve come to the site to reread the series and notice huge chunks of the comic missing DON’T PANIC. I’m just getting rid of the old version and starting at chapter 7. If you’ve read the comic before, get ready for some new awesome art and some rebooted scenes. It will be like the Sorcerer’s Apprentice you know and love, but BETTER. And if you’re just new the series, get ready to experience a magical girl series with an American twist. Expect big surprises, shocking discoveries and a whole lot of magic.

Now I’m currently on hiatus so it will be a little while before new pages will start showing up, but I’ll do a great big grand reopening when everything’s ready.

I appreciate everyone’s patience over the past year or so as everything has been a bit up in the air.
