Midnight Menagerie

Sorry for no update last week. Last weekend I had a bunch of stuff going on due to doctors and another perfectly timed bout of insomnia. This week’s page is on time and everything is moving along again. Also, I just checked my Facebook and Bwillett Comics has 99 likes! If I get 100 likes by this Thursday, I promise next Tuesday I will have 2 full pages of Midnight Menagerie for everyone to check out!

Also, it’s only a month now until Denver Comic Con, one of the biggest conventions in the western United States. For the con I’ll be having a special edition, con exclusive issue of Midnight Menagerie. It contains the first full two chapters, a con exclusive cover and will be the first time print issues will be available. I know quite a few people have been asking about print issues, so when you’re at the con don’t forget to stop by and pick up your limited copy. There will only a be a set number, and when they’re gone, they’re gone.

This week’s update is on time thanks to running out of relatives that can get sick. A lot of people have been concerned that Romero is getting written out of the series, and I can promise you, that’s not the case. I’m just building things up in order to introduce the next main character to the series. It’s still a few weeks time before you’ll meet him, but if you guys have loved Romero and Shawn, you’re going to like the new character just as much.

And on another note, many of you know that Midnight Menagerie is not my only webseries, and in the interest of a little cross promotion, know that my other series, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice has just released its second print volume. If you’ve liked Midnight Menagerie, you’ll love my all-ages Magical Girl adventure. And for those wondering when Midnight Menagerie will go on sale through Comixology, I’m wondering as well. I believe it should be on sale within the next month. The series and the issue has been approved through their system, but Comixology likes to market and build up series released from self-publishers. And considering that’s not something they have to do and they’re doing marketing for free, I’m not about to complain about a company doing a nice thing.
