Hey everyone! This week’s page marks the last update for the year. I won’t be posting a new page next Saturday because it’s Christmas and I won’t be working.

I want to thank everyone who’s been reading my series, whether it’s here on the site or the mirrors on Webtoons and Tapas. Back in 2017, I was pretty sure I was never going to do comics ever again, and certainly never thought I would ever pick Midnight Menagerie back up. But in 2020 when I came back with the series, I was humbled by the reception. Not only have a lot of my old readers come back to pick up where we left off, there’ve been loads of new folks who have joined the adventures of an anxious teenage boy about to start college and his crew of monster buddies who constantly have to get him out of mishaps.

I’ve been inspired to work like I’ve never worked before, and I can promise you a lot more Midnight in the future. In 2022 we’re going to keep going with the The House That Vincent Built, meet more monsters, learn more about Romero’s past and I’m going to work on a storyline that has been living rent-free in my mind since I first created Romero and Shawn all the way back in 2012.

2022 will mark the 10th anniversary of Midnight Menagerie and I have a feeling it’s going to be a very special year for Shawn and the crew. I’ll try to have all sorts of fun surprises (or at the very least, revamp this website a bit, you can practically see the cracks and cobwebs the coding is so outdated).

Remember that if you want MORE Midnight, join my Patreon page to get early access, sketch dumps and at the 10 dollar level commentary on all the pages past and future to learn exactly what demented thoughts went through my head to put this group of chaotic knuckleheads together.

In spite of everything I hope everyone had a pretty good 2021 and see you in the new year!
