Last week I announced my Gumroad store…right before Gumroad’s CEO decided to be a stupid human being, supported NFTs and violated his own terms of service by releasing people’s private contact information via his Twitter account. And in addition to other headaches other folks have had with the site since, I deleted my Gumroad account. The store is no longer available and if you click on the link it’ll tell you it’s an error.
For folks who still want to buy PDF versions of Midnight Menagerie (still the best way to read the series since it’s the best digital experience for the issues) I have since added the PDFs to my Ko-Fi account, PLUS I will be building an in-site store here at the website. The in-site store is going to take me a little longer to build because I’m not familiar with the plugin yet, but for now Ko-Fi is a great place because it’s a lot more user friendly, and it allows folks to give one off tips, unlike Patreon, which is effectively a subscription service not everyone necessarily wants to invest in. I get it. I have a LOT of great features on my Patreon account but not everyone wants to create an account for that site in order to follow my work. Ko-Fi doesn’t have that issue.
