I had a really busy weekend yet I still managed to get this week’s page of Midnight Menagerie up and off the ground. I’m pretty happy not only with how the coloring turned out, I actually managed to get it done in a fairly short amount of time. Digital coloring typically takes me forever. I’ve still got a lot to go before I actually can become a decent colorist, but it’s a step in the right direction
If you don’t go to my main site, Bwillett Comics, you may have missed the announcement that I had gone on hiatus, hence the lack of updates for the past few weeks. But I’m back now. I managed to get a few problems under control if not totally solved and I’m on course for my big Artist Alley adventure for Denver Comic Con. That means I’m trying to stay current with Midnight Menagerie. So enjoy today’s page and keep looking forward to new pages as the first chapter starts really taking off!
For those who have been missing the Twitter and Facebook updates, Midnight Menagerie didn’t update last week because I was unable to work on the pages. The furnace broke so my office became unlivable and caused my disease to flare up and my internet went kaput. Things are working again so there’s a new page today.
