I had a really busy weekend yet I still managed to get this week’s page of Midnight Menagerie up and off the ground. I’m pretty happy not only with how the coloring turned out, I actually managed to get it done in a fairly short amount of time. Digital coloring typically takes me forever. I’ve still got a lot to go before I actually can become a decent colorist, but it’s a step in the right direction

If you don’t go to my main site, Bwillett Comics, you may have missed the announcement that I had gone on hiatus, hence the lack of updates for the past few weeks. But I’m back now. I managed to get a few problems under control if not totally solved and I’m on course for my big Artist Alley adventure for Denver Comic Con. That means I’m trying to stay current with Midnight Menagerie. So enjoy today’s page and keep looking forward to new pages as the first chapter starts really taking off!

For those who have been missing the Twitter and Facebook updates, Midnight Menagerie didn’t update last week because I was unable to work on the pages. The furnace broke so my office became unlivable and caused my disease to flare up and my internet went kaput. Things are working again so there’s a new page today.

The last couple of weeks have been a bit hinky, but to make up for that this week I’ve posted not one, but two, new pages of Midnight Menagerie. The second page is to make up for the page I missed last week. In addition to that, I’ve posted another character bio, this time for the next main character Romero.

Remember to keep checking Twitter and Facebook for news or announcements of sudden delays when you don’t see any new pages or updates. By following/liking me on those sites, you’ll get the latest up-to-date information about all my series as well as other stuff I don’t post on the regular sites.

The majority of the exposition is out of the way and now the groundwork for the main plot is being laid. I hope everybody has been patient for the really good stuff to begin, because buckle your seat belts kids, things are about to get interesting.

Because the house has been so cold I’ve been forced to do this week’s page on my laptop instead of my usual work computer. However, working on my laptop is sloooow going which is part of the reason why this week’s page has been so late. At least the danged thing is up now and I can collapse in peace. ‘Til next week, people.

I know the last month of updates have been a bit hinky, but now I’m back to updating Midnight Menagerie on Mondays. Don’t worry if it seems like things are being a bit slow right now, things really pick up after next week’s page.

Remember how I said something about delivering three pages this week? Not gonna happen. I tried and and I tried but I really can’t do more than one page a week. I’ve got too many things I need to get done and spending all my time on the pages isn’t a very efficient way to work. But on the bright side I’ve added Ronny’s character bio to the Menagerie page.

Hey folks, no new Midnight Menagerie page. Unfortunately, I’ve been suffering an immensely bad bout of insomnia. If you’ve read my series in the past you’ll know this happens some times. I’ll make it up to everybody and as soon as I’m feeling better and put up 3 pages just to catch up. I have no idea when that’ll be, unfortunately, but when I finally get some rest I’ll let everyone know.

Peace everyone.

With the holidays over it’s back to regular updates. The third page is up but if you want to see two pages next week instead of just one, remember to ‘like’ Bwillett Comics on Facebook. Once I get 100 followers I’ll put up a second ‘bonus’ page to celebrate.
