Terms of Service:

Before sending an email to Bwillett Comics, please read these terms of service for commissioning Bwillett for work. The following explains the rights of the commissioner, the rights of the artist, what is required before work will begin and how payment is handled. Terms and prices may change without notice.

Rights of Work:

The image(s) commissioned is yours to keep and do whatever you like with (avatars, logos for companies, for your own comics, whatever) under three conditions: (1) if anyone asks, let them know I did the art, (2) I reserve the right to post a copy of the commission for my portfolio sites including BwillettComics.com, Deviant Art and Tumblr, and (3) the copyright of the image cannot be sold to a third party (if you are interested in selling the image to a third part, you *must* contact me beforehand). Larger scale projects will operate on a more detailed contract and payment structure. Those who did not commission the work may not use or repost any work labeled 'commission' in the galleries. If you do so, you will be sent a cease and desist order.

What I will Draw:

What I will not draw:

I reserve the right to turn down any commission for any reason, including those not listed.

Ordering Information

To order a commission, send an email with the subject 'Commission'. Tell me what you want (the more detailed your description the better, including reference images) and your address and I will reply with a quote. Once payment is received work will begin on your commission. I will try to complete the commission within two weeks. If for whatever reason it will take longer, you will be notified. With the exception of pencilled commissions, you will receive via email the rough sketch of your finished piece for your approval before work is continued with the final medium. All changes after this sketch are final and will not be changed or modified. All sales are final.

Traditional media commissions are done on 8.5" x 11" cardstock. Larger work must be stated before the commission is drawn. With the exception of emailed artwork, digital commissions will be printed on glossy 8.5 x 11 high quality paper. The purchaser is responsible for all shipping charges. Shipping charges include postage, printing and shipping material. Shipping charges not applicable if a CGI image is being sent via email. All orders will be carefully shipped between two pieces of cardboard and two sheets of plain copy paper. Multiple commissions from the same person will be shipped together.
