Birthday plans are put on hold until we figure out why there's a bunch of kids running around. Totally for the kid's safety and not to avoid dancing. No sir.
Hey everyone, hiatus is over and new pages are back. As I mentioned last time I’m still playing around with the update schedule. For now I’m going to be doing 2 pages a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you’re liking what you’re reading drop me a line. If you have any suggestions about otherwise how I should update I’m all ears
Hey folks! It’s time for my yearly hiatus. From now until the end of the year I’m going to be taking a break from updating the comic. I do this every year to protect myself from burnout by taking a nice long break from both working on comics and grinding the social media/advertising stuff.
New pages will come back January 9th where will pick up where we left off in Reflections. In the meantime if you don’t want to wait, remember that I sell full issues on my Ko-Fi shop including stories that aren’t online elsewhere yet.
Hey everyone, we’re back! New pages return every Thursday. Remember if you want to read ahead you can purchase full issues or become a monthly supporter on Ko-Fi where I post a lot of cool stuff. In the meantime get ready for a lot of cool stories this year as some of my favorite arcs will be posted this year
Hey folks! Just letting everyone know this week’s page will be the last for the year. I like to take at least a couple weeks off in December after a year of working on multiple series. New pages will resume in the new year starting on January 4th 2024
I will be doing something to mark Midnight’s 11th anniversary on December 11th, however, so expect at least a little something then.
Thank you to everyone who has been reading and supporting the series. We’re gonna keep having some really cool stuff happen in the upcoming year so stay tuned!
Welcome Boils and Ghouls to another year of Midnight Month, when in October we get extra treats because of Halloween. As usual, expect double updates with new pages every Monday and Thursday, as well as a special piece of artwork and fun comic at the end of the month. I’ll be trying to do some other fun extra stuff on social media, but this year I’m not doing any daily drawing challenges because those tend to burn me out really badly, and I have a lot I still want to do before my year end break in December. Last year I was so toasty I had to go on hiatus in November, and I rather not have to do that again. But please enjoy the extra pages especially as we ramp up The Horror.
Hey folks, issue 16 of Midnight Menagerie and the beginning of the Apex Predators (a storyline near and dear to my heart I’ve been waiting nearly the comic’s entire run to work on) is now available for sale. And as promised, all Midnight Menagerie issues are now permanently priced at $.99 so there’s really nothing to lose. Get to read ahead of everyone else with full resolution, HD pages for just a dollar!
Hey folks! If you’re enjoying Midnight Menagerie, you should check out my newest series too, Villains Dress Better. It’s a zany fantasy comedy influenced by a lot of 90s anime like Slayers. Right now it’s only available on Ko-Fi, but it’ll be available to the public in April. But in the meantime supporters can read ahead with 3 page updates the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month.
Hey everyone! Issue 15 is done and now available on Ko-Fi. Or, if you want to get the bundle for Book Two, that’s now available on Itch at 14 dollars which is a great value! These issues won’t be going up on the official site for a while (and even longer if you’re reading on the mirrors like Tapas and Webtoons) so this is a great way to show your support for the series and get to read ahead of everyone else. The Horror is one of my favorite storylines, so I really hope folks will check it out
Today marks the official 10th anniversary of Midnight Menagerie. I’m grateful to all my readers who have been sticking around this long as well as all the newcomers who have just stumbled upon me. Today marks the last day of Midnight Month Super Edition. Today is also the last day to take advantage of the sale on the PDF version of the comic on my Ko-Fi site. Also, after today Midnight Menagerie will be going on hiatus until the new year. New pages will return January 5th and go back to their one-day-a-week schedule. Thanks again to everyone who joined in on the fun and I look forward to new adventures with Shawn and the boys. See you in the new year!
October means Midnight Month, and to mark the series’ 10th anniversary in December, the extras will extend until December 11th. Double page updates, bonus art and comics and even more happening on Ko-Fi.
Speaking of which, after a series of problems and announcements, I am shutting down my Patreon page. From now on I’m only doing support on Ko-Fi. I will be taking down all Patreon links across my various sites and will be redirecting my supporters to Ko-Fi instead. I appreciate everyone who has supported me so far, but Patreon’s recent behavior has made me lose faith in the site. The last thing I’m posting on Patreon is an explanation that goes into more detail behind my decision.
