This week has been an imperial battle to get anything done.
Starting last Saturday I was supposed to get some ink from a company I had used for years without a lick of trouble. They get the order wrong so I send them an email. Starting Monday, after four sets of emails back and forth, and me essentially swearing to never use them again, I am finally being sent the product I initially paid for. This sets me back a bit because I hate inking, and the bigger my inking pile gets, the longer it takes me. Argh.
The other thing that is setting me back is all the construction at my house. Because of a nexus of schedules I have two teams of employees going through my house. One fixing the house itself and the people fixing the furnace (finally) so the house is mega crowded, there is tons of stuff going on, I constantly have to move things and monitor people and there is zero place for me to work. So stuff that typically takes me a few days to finish has been stretched out over a week.
I am getting a new tablet, but at this point it's a waiting game with Amazon as to when I buy it. So take a few days of that onto my schedule.
And in other news no new work on Queen of Games or Pokemon Rebel. However, today is my last day of work. The job didn't end up being what I needed. The hours were sorta screwy, and interfered with my other work, the pay is not what I hoped for and with my declining health I decided my best course of action was to resign. It was fun, but I really need to put my focus back into important things. The career, not the job.
I did get a boatload of drafting and drawing supplies last night so that should help significantly with my work, so next week I'll be far more productive.
