Gamer Diary: Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box Final

Finished Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box, making it the first game I finished this year. Go me! I have to say that I liked the story and main mystery from this game far more than Curious Village. Curious Village was definitely a good debut title for the series, but it was a bit too predictable. The ending for this game was really touching and sad, and while I didn't figure it out until the reveal, it wasn't something out of left field. I really loved the final puzzle especially, it was tricky but had a cool twist to it. I liked the minigames as well. The tea game was fairly easy, and the hamster was cute.

As for the puzzles themselves, most were really, really hard. My least favorite ones were the ones with the 'L' shaped blocks. There were at least 3 of them, and they were EVIL. Like the bratty kid sister of those blocks from Tetris

These ones.

Definitely another excellent game, and now on to Unwound Future.

Welcome to Nerdvana!

This blog is all about me, Bwillett, and the struggles of the daily life of a struggling comic artist and college student. In addition to being an artist and student, I also happen to be an comic book nerd, gaming freak and hardcore Otaku. The title is a reference from the Big Bang Theory, one of my favorite shows.
