Young Justice

Young Justice

After seeing some work around Deviant Art for this series I've finally checked out Young Justice and holy-penguins-that-tap-dance-with-canes-and-top-hats that show is awesome! The animation is great, the stories are great, the characters are great, the style is great. This is exactly what I've been missing from DC cartoons in this past decade. Teen Titans wasn't badly written, but the animation and badly done pseudo-anime really turned me off, and mentioning 'The Batman' in my presence usually results in a violent, hulk-like-rage tantrum.

Young Justice feels like the great old Bruce Timm days. When it's serious, it's really serious, but at the same time it's not afraid to be hilarious. Kid Flash and Tim Drake are love, Aqualad is pimp, Superboy is adorable and I just want to give Miss Martian a hug. I loved Superman's reaction to learning he had a clone, it was like 'O crap, I'm a dad!' and flew away. I must watch moar!

Welcome to Nerdvana!

This blog is all about me, Bwillett, and the struggles of the daily life of a struggling comic artist and college student. In addition to being an artist and student, I also happen to be an comic book nerd, gaming freak and hardcore Otaku. The title is a reference from the Big Bang Theory, one of my favorite shows.
