Anyway, in the interest in all things completely random, it turns out that Christopher Lee (Hammer Horror Movies, Sauron in LOTR and DIZ in KHII and 358/2) has put out a symphonic metal album (or at least has one in the works) about...Charlemagne.

I'm a pretty big fan of symphonic metal, but I don't know what to make of it. On one hand Christopher Lee isn't bad, and he is Christopher Lee for crying out loud, so that alone makes it awesome. But on the other it's about Charlemagne. So yeah.

My only wish is that the album came out sooner so I could have used it as a reference for my Charlemagne paper for Medieval History. My paper would have pwned.
