It's been a long, long time since I last blogged/did Epic Win, Epic Fail. It's all because of my busy life with school. The semester is winding down and all projects/assignments/papers are coming up due. In addition, I've had a lot happen, so I'll try to cram as much into this blog as possible.

Epic FAIL (et al) Alright, this week has been rather suckish, starting with last Thursday. Working on my senior project, I ordered this 50 dollar model and last Thursday I spent close to 3 hours sanding it to painting perfection, so it would have a smooth glossy surface once I sprayed it. It was finally ready to paint and I was just about to take it into the spray booth when....it dropped out of my hand and broke. I managed to fix it, thankfully, but it put me a week behind schedule. Then on Saturday I caught a cold, and have been sick all week. I had to stay home Monday and Tuesday I felt so bad. The problem was not the actual of missing classes, but I had two major projects due which I really couldn't work on. One was a paper, which required brain power that I was critically lacking at the time, and more importantly, my portfolio package was due. I managed to go to school Wednesday and turn in my paper but then Suprise! Trojan Horse! Turns out the school's system has been randomly infected with a Trojan Horse--which of course the IT people didn't bother to tell us about. I didn't find out until I put my flashdrive in my laptop and Avast went off like it was WWIII. Of course, I had managed to infect my other computer (my work computer) because its not connected to the internet and the virus software is out of date I have to get new software before I can use it again (because if I don't I'm just going to keep reinfecting everything). And I lost my favorite Cloud scarf. I called it my Cloud scarf because it was a long dark red scarf like the one Cloud wore when he was channeling Vinny in KHI. Thursday was finally the first day since last Thursday I had time to work on my portfolio, which means I did a rush job and felt terrible about it. On top of that everything that could go wrong, did. First the supplies I ordered for the printing didn't come in time, then it turns out that my black ink cartridge was dead so my prints looked terrible, some photos I took of my projects were too small, the paper I wanted to use didn't fit in my printer, and I cut off the wrong part on my business card and didn't have time to print another one. And now my cold's back. So yay.

Epic WIN I got an internship! It wasn't the one I originally wanted with a doll company, but it's a really cool place that makes wooden jewelry called Omerica Organic. I am a Jill of All Trades, I've done jewelry design for a long time. And in other news Cooper hates me now, because I have a job he would love.

Epic WIN Thanksgiving break. With all the chaos behind me I will have a solid week to finish all my projects and work on my comics. Huzzah.

Epic WINFrench Hamster Hotel. The only thing that's shocking is that the Japanese didn't do it first. As they love weird things like this, and they have an obsession with cute, furry rodents.
