Epic Exhaustion

School is back and I'm completely exhausted. I have to devote just about every waking hour to school anymore and that means no new comics for a while. But just because school consumes my life doesn't mean more stuff doesn't happen, so as usually, it's time for a new addition of Epic Win/Epic Fail

Epic Win Got my dollfie. The dollfie I ordered last week finally came, and it's so cute and tiny. Painting it is going to be interesting, to put it mildly. But alas, because of school I won't have time to work on it.

Epic WIN Rooting needles. Finally got those too and will be able to work on my Yuna doll. In theory. But as with the other stuff, no time.

Epic FAIL UPS. I'm really upset about this one. Because of the way the site works I was forced to pay close to 10 dollars for 3 day ground shipping from UPS (and for the record, the package was under a pound.) The store I bought the dolls from were in California, and when you check their shipping tracking, the package ended up in my state the same day it was shipped out from their store. Here's where I got annoyed: after it was already in my state, literally 4 miles from where I live, it still took UPS FOUR DAYS to get it to my house, making for a total of 5 days having to wait. Even if UPS doesn't ship on weekends, by sheer proximity it shouldn't have taken 5 days to get the doll to me.

Epic WIN Manga. My mom found some manga in the Goodwill: Vagabound, Blade of the Immortal and Invisible Boy. Kind of a strange set to find together, would have been interesting to have met the person who originally owned them, as Invisible Boy is a Yaoi and the rest are Samurai Shonens. It was a bit funny when my mom asked what Invisible Boy was about. I'm just glad volume 1 was so tame. If it were some more hardcore series like Junjou Romantica that would have been quite awkward to explain...

Epic FAIL My neighbor. I know everyone's had one at one point in their life, but I currently am living next to the neighbor from hell. During the week, late at night (even on week days) he will play his music loud, let his son practice with his band (and he plays Emo, to make things even worse) and generally is loud and obnoxious. And no amount of asking, pleading, threatening or police interfering has hammered through his thick skull to keep his racket down. >:XX

Epic WIN New scanner. I now have a shiny new scanner to scan pages with. You know, if I weren't in school all the time n' stuff. So yeah...

Aside from being completely drained it wasn't a bad week.

Welcome to Nerdvana!

This blog is all about me, Bwillett, and the struggles of the daily life of a struggling comic artist and college student. In addition to being an artist and student, I also happen to be an comic book nerd, gaming freak and hardcore Otaku. The title is a reference from the Big Bang Theory, one of my favorite shows.
