The Epicly Epic Epic of Epic WIN/ Epic FAIL

*now with 40% more epicness. The slowness of summer is winding down as school threatens to rear its ugly head. So this naturally leads to more thing happening, as well as more things to talk about. Without TV and my real reluctance to spend a *whole* lot of time on YouTube or Veoh (I view computers as for work/communication, not so much entertainment) I don't talk so much about pop culture things that annoy me. So what's been going on?

Epic WIN Boatload of cherry comics. The Goodwill moved and decided to change up its pricing (now it's even more ambiguous and unclear:>>) But this has lead to my benefit. I got a HUGE crate with at least a couple hundred comics for like 10 bucks. Most of the comics were even from a few days after being released. There were tons of Green Latern, Batman, Superman, X-Men, as well as some more indie random stuff. I'm prolly gonna sell some of them, but I'm definitely happy with the buy ^^

Epic WTF? DC. They. Killed. Off. Bruce. Wayne. Now please keep in mind, comic book people, is that for the most part, I don't buy American comics, as you pretty much have to buy every series ever to keep up with storylines, and that can add up to an easy 100 bucks a month. So I am pretty much 5 years behind everything, but I started reading the new Red Robin and Batman and Robin series I was really slapped by a fish to learn they offed Bruce Wayne. Of course, in the comic book world no one stays dead more than 5 years, so you know he's eventually coming back, but I still can't believe they did it. I will admit that Dick Grayson makes a decent Batman, and the 'whole filling his shoes when I was trying to get out of his shadow' stuff makes for some interesting build up, but I want to pimp slap the new Robin. He's a smart mouthed pain in the butt that makes Jason Todd look like Jimmy Olsen,. Also, what's up with the Red Robin's costume?

Epic Fail Summer's almost over. Nyoooo! As of Monday, I'll be back in school. No more loads of free time to work on projects, comics and hours upon hours of FF games XX(

Epic WIN Not so pathetic. Turns out I'm not as lousy as I think I am. I talked with my advisor and I might not have such a hard time getting an internship as I thought.

Epic WIN Dollfie. I bought one for myself as an early birthday present. I'm going to make it into Marik from YGO (as he's one of my absolute favorite characters :D) And I also got a rooting needle so I can finish the Barbie redo I'm working on that I am making into Yuna from FFX

Epic FAIL Shipping. I live a few states away from California (where I bought the dolls from) and was forced to pay for UPS 3 day ground, which ended up being close to 10 bucks! But an estimate from UPS says I won't get the doll until next Tuesday--which is 5 days from when I bought it. I resent having to pay so much...

There is another mega epic fail I want to talk about, but I'm going to post an entire blog dedicated to it.

Welcome to Nerdvana!

This blog is all about me, Bwillett, and the struggles of the daily life of a struggling comic artist and college student. In addition to being an artist and student, I also happen to be an comic book nerd, gaming freak and hardcore Otaku. The title is a reference from the Big Bang Theory, one of my favorite shows.
