And Epic Win/Epic Fails abound

Epic FAIL My scanner died. Truthfully, that scanner has died several times before. Acting up really badly, mangling pages and no amount of defragmenting, reinstallation or otherwise is fixing it. I'm going to give it a go one more time, but I think this time it's headed for the recycle box. I've had it for years and used to scan thousands of pages (all 1000+ pages of CCT, the close to 200 pages of SA, the 7 chapters of QoG and all the other random art I've created) so I know it had a good run. The other bad news is I can't replace said scanner until 2 weeks from now. So not only does this interrupt my comics, it also means I'm missing 8_13 (and I had a really killer drawing planned *angst*)

Already???? I go back to school in 10 days! Where does the time go. This summer has been a hell of a lot more relaxing than the last couple, but I don't think I'm ready for it to be over. My upcoming semester is going to be fully loaded, and I have to find an internship.

Epic WIN Bus Pass! I got my bus pass renewed, so that means sweet freedom. I am no longer bound to just walking around my neighborhood, I can also go wherever in the city I please. I plan to go caravanting as soon as I'm done with this blog.

Epic WIN The Intarwebz. When I was at school I saw the prices for the textbooks I need. History students really get bent over. The 5 books I needed would have cost me close to 300 dollars. I've gotten 4 of the 5 I need and it hasn't even cost me 50 yet (and that is with shipping). I'm still hoping to find the last book for cheaper than I've seen it so far.
