Well, it's Friday the 13th, what better day to describe my week with Epic Win/Epic Fail. Ironically, this has probably been the best day I've had all week.

Epic FAIL No Barbie.... I'm especially annoyed about this one. All of Mattel's press media said that the 50th Anniversary special Bathing Suit Barbie would not be available until Midnight March 8th. *However* Toys R Us and Target disregarded this, so when I showed up on Monday to buy the doll it turns out they were already out because they sold out on Sunday! Not only that, Toys R Us wouldn't give me a raincheck because it was only 'while supplies last'. Which is totally unfair because the doll isn't limited addition. They said they'd get a shipment today, but now I learn they won't get any more dolls until after the promotion. Which completely sucks. I feel really cheated. If I knew that all these stores weren't going to follow Mattel's rule, I would have gone on Sunday to buy it.

Epic FAIL Surveys. What do you think is the last thing an incredibly shy, introverted person wants to do? Walk up to strangers and ask them if they would like to take a survey. Which is what I've been doing all week for a project. No one likes filling them out, and I don't like taking them. Thankfully I got them all done, but I'm telling you, I never want to do them again X(

Epic FAIL Puppy assaulting bus drivers. Wanna know the easiest, fastest way to get CP to become dangerously psychotic? Injure an animal in front of her. On Wednesday morning, at a stop a bunch of people got on the bus and this cute little puppy runs on board. The driver gets all upset and says he doesn't allow dogs on his bus and demands to know who the owner is. None of the passengers said the dog was theirs. So another passenger grabs the puppy and takes it off the bus, and it immediately runs back on board. This happens two or three times and then the bus driver gets up, and with his thumb and pointer finger twists the skin on the puppy's scruff, yanks it up and pulls it back so its head was behind its legs. The poor puppy starts SCREAMING so I get up and scream at the driver "STOP! You're hurting it!" And grab the dog from him and take it off the bus again, this time trying to put it in a safe place so it can't run on the bus again. Meanwhile the driver is yelling at me to get on the bus. I finally set the puppy down, and it gets on the bus again. The driver grabs it again, but this time in a less damaging way and says to me in this snarky, condescending tone "Am I hurting it now, Miss?" I didn't say anything to him, but that's when the dog's owner finally shows up and gets the dog. I gotta tell you, if the owner didn't show up I'd've grabbed the puppy and my backpack and wait for the next bus.

Epic WIN! Good reviews from company. In class the company sponsoring our project had a conference to let us know how we did on our research reports. I was a bit unlucky and ended up being reviewed first but it actually turned out well. The problem I observed was one not really addressed, and the guy said I was heading in a good direction

Epic FAIL Hospitals and Doctors. Yesterday I got some bills from the hospital over my stay saying I owe them additional money from what I already paid. I called my insurance and learned they are trying to double bill me! I don't have to pay, but I do have to call and let them know they have to deal with my insurance and leave me alone.

Epic WIN! Sale on Anime at Best Buy. Best Buy has been clearing anime out of some of their stores and today I got Black Cat the complete series and Yugi-Oh season 3 for 50%. Hellz Yeah! I still need to get Yugi-Oh seasons 1,2 and 5. I'm gonna skip season 4 since that whole thing was basically a Big Lipped Alligator Moment

Epic WIN! Funny coincidences. I was looking at this deviation on DA when I realized the song was actually playing on the radio at the same time! I'm easily amused like that XD
