4kids: finding new and fascinating ways to get me mad.

Nooooooo!

4kids, what the hell is wrong with you???

Okay, for the longest time 4kids entertainment has been the *WORST* when it comes to putting their shows on DVD or Vhs. They never put the entire series out, or never put it on DVD at all. They don't have the Japanese version and yet they come after you if you sub it yourself. And whenever they dub anything, they of course hack it to pieces.

Despite all this I still like the dubbed version of Yugi-Oh and desire to have the entire series. And I was THRILLED to learn that they finally starting releasing full season DVD sets. I picked up the 3rd season Friday and wanted to get the 2nd season today. *HOWEVER* It turns out for whatever reason, 4kids has stopped producing the season sets. So now, the price for used ones has jumped from below 20 dollars to now over 30. And the first season is over 130 dollars 88|

These things only came out a few months ago and they are already stopped production? And on top of everything it doesn't even look like they're going to put seasons 4 or 5 on DVD either. I'm furious!

I understand that 4kids is struggling financially, but that's what you get when you invest so poorly in bad shows and butcher good ones. I really don't want to end up spending over 30 bucks for the season... In the meantime this means no Marik smexiness...

Welcome to Nerdvana!

This blog is all about me, Bwillett, and the struggles of the daily life of a struggling comic artist and college student. In addition to being an artist and student, I also happen to be an comic book nerd, gaming freak and hardcore Otaku. The title is a reference from the Big Bang Theory, one of my favorite shows.
