Epic WIN!/Epic FAIL!
Boy, where does the time go? It seems like I pause for a minute and it's already Friday. Since there's only two more weeks until finals, everyone is scrambling to get everything done. So a lot has been happening, I've just had no time to blog about it. But I always have at least a little time for you guys. ![]()
Epic WIN! Kingdom Hearts COM is coming out on PS2. And it's only going to be 30 bucks. More Axelly goodness, Larxene with a voice and of course Blazing Donald in 3D! That alone would be worth the price of the game. What I don't understand is why they don't just translate and release Final Mix into English, I'd think that'd be less hassle than having to reprogram the game onto a separate disk. And if they sold KHI and II Final Mix together in some super special addition and throw in a Sora figure and put 80 bucks on it and even a poor shmuck like me would buy it.
Epic FAIL! RTD. They suck all the time, but this time they especially earned my wrath. Gas is now under 2 dollars, and Diesel is under 3, but RTD is STILL planning to raise the fares. This is the 3rd time they've had an increase in less than 3 years. And service is still terrible.
Epic WIN! A guy in my class is going to help me make a computer generated model of Intermediate project. That will save me loads of time having to make and paint a real object.
Epic FAIL! The City of Golden. A Rabbi wanted to put a Menorah next to the city's 'Holiday Tree' and they said no. Look, it doesn't matter how much you try to sugarcoat it, a Christmas tree is a Christmas tree is a Christmas tree. Instead of trying to pretend religion doesn't exist, try to include all beliefs. If someone wants to put up a Menorah, a Nativity set, a straw goat or a Buddha statue with a Santa Claus hat let them! And Atheists take issue with it, let them stick some Darwin fish on the tree and have them work on the 25th of December. Freedom of Religion means everybody gets to express their beliefs, and non-beliefs. You have every right to disagree, but you don't have the right to suppress someone's beliefs as long as they don't impose on anyone elses. I'm an Abatheist, which means I believe in God, but don't belong to any specific religion. I understand the importance of separation of Church and State, but let's get ridiculous.
